The Negashi Islamic Community Center is a newly established non-profit organization that officially opened its doors on June 1, 2025. Located on 328 Tonawanda Street, it holds the distinction of being the first masjid in Buffalo’s Riverside neighborhood.

This center was created to give Muslims in the area a place to pray, learn, and come together as a community. As the Muslim population in Buffalo continues to grow and thrive, our vision is to support both the local Muslim community and the broader Buffalo community through meaningful engagement and outreach.

We are committed to building a strong foundation rooted in education, interfaith dialogue, and volunteerism. Our relationships with other faith-based groups reflect our dedication to mutual respect and collaboration. Looking ahead, we plan to introduce a range of initiatives including a weekend school, an Islamic library, and free Quran classes.

We pray that Allah (SWT) blesses this effort and guides us in making a positive impact for generations to come.
